Arcade Bomb Slot Review
Red Tiger Gaming have decided to go old-school with the theme of their Arcade Bomb slot. Fruit symbols are plentiful alongside other classic slot imagery such as bars and bells in this game, which features five reels. More of a video slot than a classic slot (which is what you may have expected with symbols such as these) Arcade Bomb offers up 20 paylines for you to win on and is cheap as chips to play. This Red Tiger slot will cost you at least $0.20 per spin, but those of you with ample funds to spend can splash the cash up to $500 per spin. Prizes are above board in the Arcade Bomb slot game, coming at 1,000x the total amount wagered on any single spin.
Theme and Symbols
As we’ve said, Arcade Bomb is an old-school, and part of the charm of this game is its blast from the past-style symbols. Cherries, lemons, oranges, strawberries and watermelons all show up on the reels of this game, and in retro-looking fashion. These can cough up between 4x and 50x your total bet if you strike it lucky.
Bars and bells are considerably more prosperous symbols, being worth between 24x and 250x your total bet. The big daddy of symbols is the famed red seven, which can promise wins of 100x, 250x or 1,000x your bet when 3, 4 or 5 such symbols appear in a winning combo on any active payline.
With the red seven symbols, you don’t necessarily have to land the symbols on a payline to win. In short, if a handful of sevens touch each other (either vertically or horizontally) you can win with a cluster of sevens spread over adjacent reels.
There are four different coloured bombs which appear in this game. Each of these bombs will lock onto the reels and countdown on each spin until they explode. When they do explode, each bomb has its own blast trajectory, and these blast patterns replace all symbols that are caught up in the blast with identical mystery symbols, and the same happens to any unexploded bombs as well. This feature gives players ample opportunities to collect a nice volume of wins.
The yellow bomb explodes vertically down a reel, whilst the blue explodes horizontally. The green explodes in both directions, whilst the purple bomb explodes diagonally to all four corners of the reels.
Our Take on Arcade Bomb
What initially looks like a generic, run-of-the-mill classic-turned-video slot machine game pans out to be something quite different. In this regard, Arcade Bomb has a lot more to offer than many of its simpler rivals from other software providers with similar themes. Arcade Bomb can deliver a trip down memory lane to the glory days of slot gaming for those want it, but also present something new to fans who love their typical video slot features.
